Today I started a new book called Yellow line by Sylvia Olsen. It is about a kid that lives in a town where white people and Indians are divided and don’t get along. The title of the book I think stands for the line that divides the two groups of people. I can relate to this because of the lake I go to we don’t get along with the Indian reserve next to us. We don’t because they break into our cabins. In the first few chapters the boy telling the story is telling the thing they do to ignore each other but starts to get mad when he sees this people talking with the Indians.

Today I started to read a new book it took awhile to pick one but I think I am going to read the book called Break by Hannah Moskowitz. At first I thought it would be stupid because the boy in the book trys to break every bone in this body. He trys to do this because of stuff going on in this life like girls and family. But I started to read a lot more and I think this book is pretty good with the problems going on in his life.

This week i read two chapters in the book Bedtime stories and animal tales. When I first started reading they seemed interesting but turned out to very boring when they told stories about Elephants on acid and racing roaches. Reading Elephants on acid i found stupid they just gave a Elephant acid and he ended up dying. I hope while reading the next chapters they will be better than the chapters before.

Yesterday I went to get a book from the Saskatoon public library. I got the book Elephants on Acid And other Bizarre Experiments By Alex Boese. This book is about bizarre experiments done by mad scientists, geniuses, heroes, and villains. This book talks about some of the difference between a scientists and a normal person. Chapter one was called Frankenstein’s Lab, I thought it would be about a bunch of mad scientists but after reading it was a lot of cool experiments and I hope the rest of the book is like this.
